A special list for my good friend, Holly, on her 23rd birthday.

Top 10 Reasons I am glad Holly is in my life (in no particular order):

1. She has not one, but TWO blogs. Check them out here and here.

2. She is getting married in June (to one of my favorite guys ever!) and her name will be Holly Wood.

3. We both understand the danger of Q-Tips. And so we used mineral oil to clean out our ears for about 6 months.

4. She understands the importance of reliving Cloudstreet (and other great literature).

5. She is a fearless chef.

6. She has logged just as many (if not more) nannying hours as me.

7. We survived together in a house with 6 girls, a rat, a squirrel, and no dishwasher or garbage disposal for a whole year.

8. She introduced me to etsy.

9. She’s a fabulous writer; her writing makes me laugh and inspires me to write.

10. She’s interesting, passionate, and smart…about everything from food to faith.
